You can view and export a list of people with access to a repository within an organization.

You can use this information to help off-board people, gather data for compliance, and other general security checkups.

You can see a combined overview of teams and people with access to your repository in your repository settings. For more information, see "Managing teams and people with access to your repository."

Exporting a list of people with access to your repository

Note: Only organizations that use GitHub Enterprise Cloud can export a list of people with access to a repository. For more information about how you can try GitHub Enterprise Cloud for free, see "Setting up a trial of GitHub Enterprise Cloud."

  1. On GitHub.com, navigate to the main page of the repository.

  2. Under your repository name, click Insights.

  3. At the bottom of the left sidebar, click People.

  4. Above the list of people, click Export CSV.
