Viewing people in your enterprise

To audit access to enterprise-owned resources or user license usage, enterprise owners can view every administrator and member of the enterprise.

Enterprise accounts are available with GitHub Enterprise Cloud and GitHub Enterprise Server. For more information, see "About enterprise accounts."

Viewing enterprise owners

You can view enterprise owners as well as a list of pending invitations to become owners. You can find a specific person by searching for their username or full name.

  1. In the top-right corner of GitHub Enterprise Server, click your profile photo, then click Enterprise settings. "Enterprise settings" in drop-down menu for profile photo on GitHub Enterprise Server

  2. In the enterprise account sidebar, click People. People tab in the enterprise account sidebar

  3. Under " People", click Administrators. Administrators tab

Viewing members and outside collaborators

You can view the number of pending members and outside collaborators. You can filter the list of members by role or organization. You can filter the list of outside collaborators by the visibility of the repositories the collaborator has access to. You can find a specific person by searching for their username or display name.

You can view which repositories an outside collaborator has access to by clicking on the person's name.

  3. Optionally, to view a list of outside collaborators rather than the list of members, click Outside collaborators. Outside collaborators tab on the Organization members page

Viewing dormant users

You can view a list of all dormant users who have not been suspended and who are not site administrators. A user account is considered to be dormant if it has not been active for at least a month. You may choose to suspend dormant users to release user licenses. For more information, see "Managing dormant users."
