Editing a project (classic)

You can edit the title and description of an existing classic project.

Notes:

  • Projects, the all-new projects experience, is now available. For more information about Projects, see "About Projects."
  • You can only create a new classic project board for an organization, repository, or user that already has at least one classic project board. If you're unable to create a classic project board, create a project instead.

Tip: For details on adding, removing, or editing columns in your classic project, see "Creating a project (classic)."

  1. Navigate to the classic project you want to edit.

  2. On the top-right side of the classic project, click Menu.

  3. Click , then click Edit.

  4. Modify the classic project name and description as needed, then click Save project.
