Activating beta features for apps

You can test new app features released in public beta for your GitHub Apps and OAuth Apps.

Activating beta features for GitHub Apps

  1. In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Settings.

  2. In the left sidebar, click Developer settings.

  3. Select the GitHub App you want to enable a beta feature for.
  4. In the left sidebar, click Beta Features.

  5. Next to the beta feature you want to enable for your app, click Opt-in.

Activating beta features for OAuth Apps

  1. In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Settings.

  2. In the left sidebar, click Developer settings.

  3. In the left sidebar, click OAuth Apps.

  4. In the left sidebar, click Beta Features.

  5. Next to the beta feature you want to enable for your app, click Opt-in.
