Configuring custom footers

You can give users easy access to enterprise-specific links by adding custom footers to GitHub Enterprise Cloud.

Enterprise owners can configure GitHub Enterprise Cloud to show custom footers with up to five additional links.

Custom footer

The custom footer is displayed above the GitHub footer to all enterprise members and collaborators, on all repository and organization pages for repositories and organizations that belong to the enterprise.

Configuring custom footers for your enterprise

  1. In the top-right corner of GitHub.com, click your profile photo, then click Your enterprises. "Your enterprises" in drop-down menu for profile photo on GitHub Enterprise Cloud

  2. In the list of enterprises, click the enterprise you want to view. Name of an enterprise in list of your enterprises

  3. In the enterprise account sidebar, click Settings. Settings tab in the enterprise account sidebar

  4. Under "Settings", click Profile. Enterprise profile settings

  5. At the top of the Profile section, click Custom footer. Custom footer section

  6. Add up to five links in the fields shown. Add footer links

  7. Click Update custom footer to save the content and display the custom footer. Update custom footer
