You can manage the number of spaces a tab is equal to for your personal account.
If you feel that tabbed indentation in code rendered on GitHub Enterprise Server takes up too much, or too little space, you can change this in your settings.
In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Settings.
In the left sidebar, click Appearance.
Under "Tab size preference", select the drop-down menu and choose your preference.
