Using the new billing platform

The enhanced billing platform offers better spending control and detailed visibility to help you understand your usage with more granular controls.

Who can use this feature?

Outside of GitHub Enterprise Cloud, the enhanced billing platform is only available to:

  • Organization accounts on a GitHub Team plan created after November 13, 2024.
  • Organization accounts on a GitHub Free plan created after February 4, 2025.

It is currently not available to user accounts on any plan.
