Managing GitHub Mobile for your enterprise

You can decide whether people can use GitHub Mobile to connect to your GitHub Enterprise Server instance.

Who can use this feature

Enterprise owners can manage GitHub Mobile for a GitHub Enterprise Server instance.

About GitHub Mobile

GitHub Mobile allows people to triage, collaborate, and manage work on your GitHub Enterprise Server instance from a mobile device after successful authentication. GitHub Mobile is available as an Android and iOS app. For more information, see "GitHub Mobile."

You can allow or disallow people from using GitHub Mobile to authenticate to your GitHub Enterprise Server instance and access your instance's data. By default, GitHub Mobile is enabled for people who use your GitHub Enterprise Server instance.

Note: If you upgrade to GitHub Enterprise Server 3.4.0 or later and have not previously disabled or enabled GitHub Mobile, GitHub Mobile will be enabled by default. If you previously disabled or enabled GitHub Mobile for your instance, your preference will be preserved upon upgrade. For more information about upgrading your instance, see "Upgrading GitHub Enterprise Server."
