Deleting a team

Organization owners can delete teams at any time from the team's settings page.

Tip: Only organization owners can delete parent teams. For more information, see "About teams."

  1. In the upper-right corner of GitHub Enterprise Server, select your profile photo, then click Your organizations.

  2. Click the name of your organization.

  3. Under your organization name, click Teams.

  4. Select the team or teams you'd like to delete.

  5. Above the list of teams, select the X teams selected dropdown menu and click Delete.

  6. Review the team or teams that will be deleted, then click I understand, delete teams.
