You can subscribe to individual conversations that interest you even if you're not watching the repository where the conversation is occuring. If you're no longer interested in a conversation, you can unsubscribe from any future notifications.

Subscribing to conversations

When you subscribe to a conversation, you'll receive notifications for each update to the conversation even if you're not participating in the conversation.

  1. On GitHub Enterprise, navigate to the main page of the repository.

  2. Issues and pull requests tab selectionUnder your repository name, click Issues or Pull requests.

  3. Choose an issue or pull request to subscribe to.

  4. Conversation Subscribe buttonIn the right sidebar, click Subscribe.

Unsubscribing from conversations

When you unsubscribe from a conversation, you'll no longer receive notifications about the conversation. If you or a team you're on are @mentioned in the conversation, you'll begin receiving notifications again. For more information on @mentions, see "Basic writing and formatting syntax."

  1. On GitHub Enterprise, navigate to the main page of the repository.

  2. Issues and pull requests tab selectionUnder your repository name, click Issues or Pull requests.

  3. Choose an issue or pull request to unsubscribe from.

  4. Conversation Subscribe buttonIn the right sidebar, click Unsubscribe.
