Sadly, no. GitHub for Mac uses libgit2 extensively. Libgit2 interacts directly with the Git database, it does not run normal Git shell commands.
This version of GitHub Enterprise was discontinued on August 4th, 2015. No patch releases will be made, even for critical security issues.
