If you're locked out of your account and don't have access to your primary device, you can use a recovery code to access your account.
After successfully setting up two-factor authentication via a TOTP mobile application , you'll be provided a set of randomly generated recovery codes that you can view and save. We strongly recommend saving your recovery codes immediately. If you don't, though, you can download them at any point after enabling two-factor authentication.
In the top right corner of any page, click .
In the user settings sidebar, click Account settings.
Under Two-Factor Authentication, click Save your recovery codes.
Treat these recovery codes with the same level of attention as you would your password! They should not be shared or distributed. We recommend saving them with a password manager, such as LastPass or 1Password.
