Upgrading Git Large File Storage

You can purchase additional data packs to increase your monthly bandwidth quota and total storage capacity for Git LFS.

Purchasing additional storage and bandwidth for a personal account

  1. In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Settings. Settings icon in the user bar
  2. In your user settings sidebar, click Billing & plans. Billing & plans settings
  3. Next to "Git LFS Data", click Add more data or use the Edit drop-down and click Add more data packs. Add more data button
  4. Enter the number of data packs you want to add to your account. Each pack costs $5 per month, and provides 50 GB of bandwidth and 50 GB for storage. Purchase More data packs button
  5. To confirm your new monthly data pack quantity, click Purchase. Purchase More data packs button

Purchasing additional storage and bandwidth for an organization

Only organization members with the owner or billing manager role can access or change billing settings for your organization.

  1. In the top right corner of GitHub, click your profile photo, then click Your organizations. Your organizations in the profile menu
  2. Click Settings next to the organization. The settings button
  3. In your organization's Settings sidebar, click Billing & plans. Billing settings
  4. Next to "Git LFS Data", click Add more data or use the Edit drop-down and click Add more data packs. Add more data button
  5. Enter the number of data packs you want to add to your account. Each pack costs $5 per month, and provides 50 GB of bandwidth and 50 GB for storage. Purchase More data packs button
  6. To confirm your new monthly data pack quantity, click Purchase. Purchase More data packs button
