Before applying for an individual discount, check if your learning community is already partnered with us as a GitHub Education school. For more information, see "About GitHub Education."

Everyone with a GitHub account can collaborate in unlimited public and private repositories with GitHub Free. As a student, you can also apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, which offers free access to tools and services used by professional developers. If you're a member of a FIRST robotics club, your mentor can apply for an educator discount so your team can collaborate using GitHub Team, which allows unlimited users and private repositories, for free. For more information, see "Applying for an educator or researcher discount."
