Disabling team discussions for your organization

Organization owners can choose to disable or enable team discussions across the organization.

Team discussions are available in organizations by default. For more information on team discussions, see "About team discussions."

  1. In the top right corner of GitHub.com, click your profile photo, then click Your organizations. Your organizations in the profile menu
  2. Next to the organization, click Settings. The settings button
  3. In the Settings sidebar, click Teams. Teams tab in the organization settings sidebar
  4. Under "Team discussions", unselect Enable team discussions for this organization. Checkbox to enable or disable team discussions for an organization
  5. Click Save.
