# Git LFS에 대한 REST API 엔드포인트

REST API를 사용하여 리포지토리에 대한 Git 대용량 파일 스토리지 (LFS)를 사용 또는 사용 안 함으로 설정합니다.

## Git LFS 정보

Git 리포지토리에 큰 파일을 저장하는 데 사용할 Git LFS 수 있습니다. REST API를 사용하면 개별 리포지토리에 대한 기능을 사용하거나 사용하지 않도록 설정할 수 있습니다.

리포지토리에 대한 관리자 액세스 권한이 있는 사용자는 이러한 엔드포인트를 사용할 수 있습니다.

> Most endpoints use `Authorization: Bearer <YOUR-TOKEN>` and `Accept: application/vnd.github+json` headers, plus `X-GitHub-Api-Version: 2026-03-10`. Curl examples below omit these standard headers for brevity.

## Enable Git LFS for a repository

```
PUT /repos/{owner}/{repo}/lfs
```

Enables Git LFS for a repository.
OAuth app tokens and personal access tokens (classic) need the site\_admin scope to use this endpoint.

### Parameters

#### Headers

* **`accept`** (string)
  Setting to `application/vnd.github+json` is recommended.

#### Path and query parameters

* **`owner`** (string) (required)
  The account owner of the repository. The name is not case sensitive.

* **`repo`** (string) (required)
  The name of the repository without the .git extension. The name is not case sensitive.

### HTTP response status codes

* **202** - Accepted

* **403** - We will return a 403 with one of the following messages:

Git LFS support not enabled because Git LFS is globally disabled.
Git LFS support not enabled because Git LFS is disabled for the root repository in the network.
Git LFS support not enabled because Git LFS is disabled for .

## Disable Git LFS for a repository

```
DELETE /repos/{owner}/{repo}/lfs
```
